The Blueberry Harvest Run

The Blueberry Harvest Run will be taking place in conjunction with the Trinity Conception Fair on Sunday morning, October 2, 2011 in the Town of Harbour Grace. This year the run will incorporate a non-competitive 10k walk, a competitors' 10k race and a competitors' 3k race. This event is sponsored by the Town of Harbour Grace for citizens all over Trinity Conception in the Town's on-going efforts to contribute to healthier lifestyles.
Walkers will begin in front of the stadium at 9:00 am sharp and the competitive events will begin at 10:00 am.
Pre-registration can be completed at the Provincial Fitness Center, the Carbonear Swimming Pool and/or the Town of Harbour Grace Council Office during regular office hours on September 26th, 27th and 28th, 2011. Registration will also take place after 7:30 am on October 2nd, 2011 before the race. Walkers can register no later than 8:30, and runners, no later than 9:30 on October 2nd, prior to the race.
The 10k walk and run will have a registration fee of $20.00, while the 3k event will cost $10.00. Souvenir t-shirts will be available to the first 120 registrants. Medals will be awarded for various competitive categories.
